Germination

The best way to get seeds to germinate is place them in a cup of distilled water over night. Keep them in a warm place, between 75-85 degrees. Placing them on top of your refrigerator or in a cupboard works well. Do not let the seeds soak in the water for more than 24 hours or they will not germinate from lack of oxygen. Make sure you use distilled water without any bleach. After 24 hours place the seeds within several layers of moist paper towel. Put the wet paper towel inside a plastic bag or on a plate with a bowl overtop to prevent the paper towl from drying out. Put them underneath a incadescent light just close enough to keep the papertowel LUKEWARM. Don't let them get too hot! Make sure the paper towel never dries out or the seeds will die. Between a few days and up to 2 weeks the seeds will split open and a sprout will emerge.

It is now time to plant the seeds into the soil. Plant the seed with the pointy end of the seed facing down no more than 1 cm below the surface. Make sure you keep the soil slightly moist but not wet. It is much more common to over water your plants then to under water them. If you over water them they will not recieve enough oxygen and suffocate.

Feel free to post comments and email me at webmaster@thcseeds.com if you have a different way of germinating seeds or would like to share your personal experience.
